David I. Griffin
David grew up in Spring Texas and attended college at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. At UMHB, David served as a men's bible study leader, a BSM co-president, the director of student government programs, and as the university's student body president.
After college, David moved to Dallas to study at Dallas Theological Seminary. While there, he met his wife Catharine and the two of them were married at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas. During his time of study at seminary David served as the part-time BSM Director at UT Southwestern Medical school. In his his four years of serving there he set out to raise up Christian leaders among the medical student population, reach students for Christ, and plan medical mission trips to share the love and message of Jesus Christ with the poor.
In his free time, David enjoys being with his wife and son, painting, hiking, and is learning to play tennis. His favorite type of food is Mexican. His favorite color is blue, but orange is looking better to him everyday.
